Finally, a new knife here!
I’ve been spending a lot of time in the workshop on a few other projects, working on a new style of finish and grind. I’ll show you more soon.
Here’s a compact 200mm knife, forged in 145sc with XC10 cladding and a Kausmi finish. It has a KT spine with a solid grind, slightly convex.
The cladding has a lot to show if you have a good hard stone.
If you’ve seen my « story » on Instagram, you had a small preview. :)
I have grinded a bit more widely than usual on this one to compensate for the thickness on spine and to have “more to show on the cladding.”
The handle is my classic burnt oak.
Specs :
Blade is 197x45mm
Thickness : 4.8 at the handle
2.6mm half way
1mm at 10mm from the tip .
Weight :178g
